It is inevitable that we will face times in life that are challenging. During such times, our community may offer their best support, but it can only be through the lens of their own experiences. This is when working with a therapist becomes an invaluable opportunity for insight, growth, understanding and support. Your background, values and experiences all shape your identity and how you experience the world. I am passionate about understanding your experience and offering compassionate and insightful care. I feel confident helping with issues of anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem and relationships as well as many other issues we struggle with as humans.
My years working as an actor have created a strong empathetic understanding of emotion as well as a curiosity for the thoughts behind the feeling. My years of meditation and working as a yoga instructor have helped me explore many ways to find more peace in my body around the inevitable challenges of life.
I take a grounded, evidence-based approach that acknowledges the interplay our health and environment have on our overall wellness. For those that wish to explore more existential questions about life and purpose, I am excited to facilitate those conversations.

Throughout my experience working as a therapist, I’ve cultivated expertise in navigating the intricate connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Grounded in the principles of Psychodynamic, DBT, EFT and CBT modalities, my approach empowers clients to unravel the roots of their challenges, identify maladaptive thought patterns, and cultivate practical strategies for positive change.
I am dedicated to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, actively welcoming individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQAI2S+ communities. This commitment shapes my therapeutic landscape, fostering a safe and affirming space for clients to explore, grow, and overcome obstacles. Together, we can embark on a journey towards emotional well-being, stronger relationships, and improved sleep quality, embracing diversity and individual strengths.

My favourite teacher often told me “once you know a person’s story, everything they do makes sense.”
That’s where I come in. I help people who might be struggling in their relationships, a role change (such as a divorce or new parenthood) or challenging life circumstances make sense of what’s happening and begin writing a new chapter.
Every person needs something different when it comes to counselling and using an integrated approach allows me to tailor care to find what works best for you. You’re the expert of your own life and we will work collaboratively to create lasting and meaningful healing.
Along with working with individuals, families and new moms, I am also interested in couples and relationship dynamics, informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. After spending a decade working in media, I am so excited about my new path as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University.
My goal is to help you be the happiest version of yourself with a story you can’t wait to share.
